Thank you for visiting my fundraising page dedicate to the eradication of sex trafficking. It would be easy to pretend that children are not being brutally abused by sexual predators, but the fact is, they ARE being abused, it IS happening every day and it is happening locally.

A little back story: I chose to support the Barnaba Institute earlier this year after my band played at a fundraiser to help stop sexual trafficking. As I was leaving the club I stopped to speak with Mr. Barnaba, really just to say, "Keep up the good work" and show some respect for his efforts. We ended up talking at great length and he shared some stories with me that still bring tears to my eyes when I think of them.  I didn't sleep much that night and I kept thinking that people are brought together in strange ways for so many reasons.

Mr. Barnaba's efforts are heroic. He is on the front lines of sadness, broken spirits and broken hearts...devastation. At the same time, he is hopeful and diligent, and most importantly, he is making a difference.

I promised myself that night that I would also try to make a difference. I donate to Barnaba Institute automatically out of my checking account every month.
