It is with a grateful heart that I write to you this week. Thanks to your most generous response, we have raised the funds we needed to cover our deficit for 2008. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your overwhelming response and the prayers and heartfelt words of encouragement that we received.
In anticipation of a difficult year, we have made some painful cutbacks to lower our overall expenses. However, it is critical that we raise an additional $15,000 so that we can enter 2009 with the funding necessary to build CFOIC Heartland stronger and more effective than ever before.
Please join us today and consider making a final year-end gift to CFOIC Heartland. As so many supporters of Israel are being hit with financial losses, it is imperative that CFOIC Heartland continue to be there for the people of Israel. A strong CFOIC Heartland is a strong Biblical Israel. Together we will continue to stand with the Jews living in Judea and Samaria and the refugees from Gaza.

Dear CFOIC Heartland Friends,
In all of my years with CFOIC Heartland, this is the second time I have had to write a letter like this. It is with a heavy heart that I have to send this to you.
In the course of the year there is a great deal of “behind the scenes” work that is carried out at CFOIC Heartland. This very necessary, yet not talked about, aspect of ministry is a vital part of all we do. Our staff members are here to answer your phone calls and emails, send out the news from Israel, and the resource materials that are requested, to fulfill a major part of our mission, which is to educate Christians about the area known as “Biblical Israel”, and to be a voice for those living in Judea and Samaria.
In the past couple of months, we have seen tremendous gifts pour through us to bless specific community projects in Israel. Some of these donations came at the expense of our regular day-to-day operational donations that keep us running. We now find ourselves in the midst of a financial shortfall. If we are not able to raise the money necessary in the next few days, we are going to have to make some serious cutbacks. This is not something that we want to do.
With the changing political scene in America, Israel is going to be in need of more dedicated friends than ever before. Now is the time that you can act and make a huge difference in the future of CFOIC Heartland and the communities of Judea and Samaria. We have an immediate need of $30,000, plus an additional $15,000 needed by December 31, 2008. Beginning in January 2009, we must find an additional 300 people who are willing to partner with us on a regular monthly basis, to ensure that the vital work we are doing is able to continue and to grow beyond where we are today.

Then, please pray about joining with us on a regular monthly basis if you are not regularly donating to us already. For those of you who are already our regular monthly partners -- a HUGE Thank You! We could not have done all that we have done over the past 10 years without your faithful support. We cannot emphasize enough how important you are to us. Thank you for standing with us and continuing to lift us up in prayer. Now is the time that the enemy would like for our voice to be silenced, but NOW is the time that our voice on behalf of Biblical Israel is needed more than ever before. We must reach new audiences with the true message coming from Biblical Israel.
