On Saturday, October 1, 2011, we will be participating in Alexander's Angels 5th Long Island Buddy Walk!  Our team has been named "Luke's Troop" in honor of our precious Luke Francis. We are all so blessed to have Luke in our lives! He has this unique ability to bring a smile to each and every face he meets.  Luke is lucky to have his two big brothers who absolutely adore him and they are lucky to have such an amazing little brother who loves to play and laugh with them! 

We are looking forward to our first year walking to help fulfill Alexander's Angels mission: "To further the awareness of contributions and needs of individuals with Down Syndrome and to raise funds for advocacy, service and resource organizations".  One of the beneficiaries of this fundraising event is the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) that works to "promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down Syndrome".
