Thank you for visiting my Law Enforcement Torch Run benefiting Special Olympics Illinois fundraising page. The Law Enforcement Torch Run is the single largest fund-raising event benefiting Special Olympics Illinois. It is an annual intrastate relay fundraiser conducted by officers representing every branch of law enfocement across the stae from local police officers to FBI agents. The Torch Run has two goals: to raise money year-round and to gain awareness for the athletes who participate in the Special Olympics.
On June 10, myself and my co-workers will represent the Park Ridge Police Department on our leg of the Law Enforcement Torch Run to its final destination – the Opening Ceremonies of the Special Olympics Illinois Summer Games each June in Normal. The Park Ridge Police Department is one of the more than 300 departments around the state that participate in the Torch Run.
I hope you will join me in supporting Special Olympics Illinois! Your donations will help provide the more than 22,000 athletes the chance to participate in year-round sports training and competition - all at no charge to the athletes or their families!
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to the Torch Run benefiting Special Olympics Illinois. Many thanks for your support - and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
