Haylee, Jacob & I will be walking with Scamper & Roxy to help save the lives of the many dogs and cats who are abandoned in overcrowded public shelters every day. Both Scamper and Roxy were in that very situation before ARF's rescue patrol found them and brought them to ARF where we were very blessed to be able to make them part of our own little pack. As most of you know, we foster many animals through ARF and these are two "extra special" little one's that claimed us for their own.
I know times are tough right now but every little bit helps and even a dollar or two can make a real difference... just think how many people there are in the world and if everyone even donated a dollar...wow... what power there is in combined efforts!!
***Some of you are probably thinking... "but so many people need help these days why should I worry about the animals?" Well something our executive director, Elena Bicker, once said really touched me and answers that question perfectly... she said that ARF gets many phone calls each day asking for help and she has yet to pick up the phone and find a dog or cat on the other end of the line! So funny and so true...
I think that times like these are when we all need to work together to be sure that we don't forget about those who need help just because it's a little harder right now... Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for all your love and support!!
