Please give in memory of Sammy...k thanks. luv Tasha & Bella
Walking in Memory of our Lil' Sammy... luv of my life...
Wow hard to believe this is our third year putting our paws to the pavement to support ARF! Thank you all soooo much for your past support and please consider donating again this year... no gift is too small (good things come in small packages... just ask Tasha!) and every penny counts as my kids tell me when they are scrounging for change.
***Please click the DONATE or SPONSOR button now and leave a message for the kids and pupsters... they love to read them and watch the difference they are making.
So many wonderful foster dogs and cats have stayed with us this year but two very special kids I'd like to share with you are Bella and Sammy... these two little pups were neglected and starved until ARF rescued them... they were much too tiny at just 7 weeks old, and had too many health issues to stay in the shelter so I took them home with me the night they arrived at ARF.
Beautiful Bella had a heart murmur and a hole in her heart, in addition to some behavior issues like a tendency to protect any food that came her way... (hey it's probably how she managed to survive until she was rescued!) but she has overcome all her obstacles and blossomed into a healthy and happy girl who is now a permanent member of our family (yes we are once again foster failures... ;-) Sadly, her little brother Sammy lost his fight so Bella is living life for the both of them.... and she does that well!! Our happy, happy tail-wagging silly, Bella Boo!!!
I uploaded a couple videos... one is our tribute to our sweet Sammy and will make you cry and the other will make you laugh as Bella shows off her version of the hampster dance! Haylee took that on her cell phone! (it's called The Delilah Dance because that was her name before we adopted her... yep they were Sampson and Deliliah... strong names for our brave little furries...) be sure to turn your sound on first. (I guess firstgiving only allows one video... but you can go to "puppyfoster" on youtube or else to my facebook page and Bella's Hampster Dance is there. Sorry about that!)
Laughter and Tears... two things that go hand in hand when you care for fosters... and oh, what would life be without them?
THANK YOU so much for your support... there are so many more Bella's and Sammy's in need of rescue and we couldn't do it without you. <3 <3 <3 (<-- those are hearts)
All our love always,
Kris, Brandon, David, Jacob, Haylee, Bella and Tasha
