Our journey with Rett Syndrome has only just begun. Savanna started having seizures in February which caused her to spend a week in the hospital. During that time a lot of testing was done and the final result was Rett Syndrome.
Her seizures are getting better and she is finaly back in school. She is still very mobile and we hope to keep her that way as long as possible. She is the happiest little girl in the world and even though she can't talk to us, she tells us everything with her smile!
After receiving the initial diagnosis, we were excited to learn about all of the research that is being done to find a cure for Rett Syndrome. Our prayer is that one day we will get to hear the voice of our sweet girl.
