It’s that time of year again, as the Florida Lions Camp prepares for its annual Walk-A-Thon.  This year’s fundraiser will be “The Buddy Walk”, as participants will raise money this year by walking alongside a “buddy” of their choice, showing off their abilities. 

Whether it is a parent, sibling, FLC staff or friend we are asking all walkers to pair with a buddy in efforts to raise funds for the walk and to complete the walk together.  We are asking this of participants this year to emphasize the camp’s goal to not only  provide recreation and learning experiences for our campers with varying abilities, but to all involved in the lives of our FLC campers. 

So we are asking all moms, dads, grandparents, siblings, friends, Lions, staff and campers, to get more involved with this year’s walk, as we look to raise more funds to help insure the Florida Lions Camp can further serve it’s mission, to help insure a better future for all by giving a world of good through camping and providing inclusive recreational programming for campers of varying abilities. 

Remember, we can make it the best Walk-a-thon yet if we all participate by raising funds, staying active and showing each other how much we care about our Florida Lions Camp!
