Thanks for taking the time to read this page! When I was in 11th grade, my godmother, Aunt Pat, died from a devastating disease called Scleroderma. This disease caused the skin of her internal organs to harden. She ultimately lost her life when she was only 44 years old. Today, over 300,000 people in the United States suffer from Scleroderma and there is still NO CURE!
The Tri-State Chapter of the Scleroderma Foundation holds a series of walkathons every year throughout Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York and this year. Our family has done the walk in June for the past 8 years and this is the second year I have been volunteering for the Leonia, New Jersey walk committee. The purpose of these walks is to raise research funds for the elimination of Scleroderma. If you're able to walk with us on Sunday, June 3, we would be so excited to have you there!
I know not everyone can make the walk though so if you can afford any small donation, it would be extremely appreciated! Everything you donate goes right to finding a cure!!
Thank you so so much,
Love, Kristen
