Kristen MacIsaac's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page! I am running the Boston Marathon on April 20, 2009 to raise money for MGH's Pediatric Cancer Center. I am running in honor of the extremely brave young adults and children fighting cancer and the incredible doctors and nurses at MGH striving to find a cure and to give each patient the best care possible. Prior to training for the marathon, I had never run longer than 4 miles at once, but the effort required to train has truly been insignificant compared to the physical and mental strength displayed by cancer patients on a daily basis. As many of you know, supporting young cancer patients is vitally important to my family and I since my younger brother, Brian, has been heroically battling cancer since last April.
Please visit the website for our MGH Marathon Team "Fighting Kids' Cancer...One Step at a Time" at: http://www2.massgeneral.org/marathon/ to learn more about this cause. Many cancers affecting children and young adults do not have a cure and your donation will fund much-needed innovative cancer research and help to initiate effective new treatments for these young patients.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Thank you very much for your support,
Kristen
