New Balance Falmouth Road Race
Thank you for taking the time to read my fundraising page. I am honored to be once again running the Falmouth Road Race to help raise awareness and funds for the Sturge-Weber Foundation. Our wonderful friends and neighbors, Jess and Oggie Melo have a son, Jameson who was diagnosed in March of 2008 with this incurable disease.
Sturge-Weber Syndrome is a congenital, non-familial disorder of unknown incidence and cause. It is characterized most often, but not always, by a facial birthmark and neurological abnormalities. Other symptoms associated with Sturge-Weber Syndrome can include eye and internal organ irregularities. Currently, there is no known cure for Sturge-Weber Syndrome.
Last year, as a TEAM we were able to raise over $25,000 for this organization through many thoughtful people. Please consider making a donation, any amount is greatly appreciated. Thank you for considering this very worthwhile cause!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
