Once again I will be participating in the Walk for the Animals and Walktoberfest this year.  I enjoy this event.  I participate in this event due to my dog Jynx.  I adopted him from the Humane Society in Jan 2009.  He is a great companion, especially on walks.  But if my husband and I would have never adopted him I probably wouldn't participate.  I found out a few months after adopting him that he had broke his leg while living with his first owners, we are his third and final owners.  And if it wasn't for the Humane Society fixing his broking leg, who knows what would have happened to him.  That is why for the third year I plan on participating in the walk to help other dogs that may end up in the same situation.
