My friend, Amy (creator of the "Amy's Army" group) has had Lupus for many years, and fights to just do "normal" things every day.  At first she thought she was just "burning the candle at both ends" and needed a rest.  But after a series of seemingly unrelated medical issues (including sudden paralysis), she knew something was very wrong.  )Did you know Lupus can affect your organs?  Which means - sorry for the drama, but... - people DIE of this disease.  It's not just an I'm-feeling-rundown diagnosis.)
