During our battle with Carcinoid/Neuroendocrine Carcinoma, we were lucky enough to find ourselves engulfed in the support of our family and friends.  Together, we were able to see the great things we were being given.  During his difficult fight, Chris would tell me often how he couldn't wait to get through this, to come out the other side.  He was eager to start "paying it forward".  He wanted other people struggling with this disease, or with any hardship, to feel the love and support that he felt - from family, friends and strangers alike.

At (barely) 40 years old, Chris lost his battle with cancer.  He left behind a wife, a 3 year old son, his parents, a sister and countless friends and extended family who feel his loss everyday.  However, just because Chris lost the battle, doesn't mean we can't "pay it forward" in his memory.  Nothing would make him happier; to know that we're helping to find a cure so that other families don't have to suffer through the pain and sadness that ours has had to endure.  Please help me honor OC.
