Dear Friends and Family,

This year I will be taking part in Circle of Care's first annual Walk to Remember. As most of you know, I am the Program Director of Circle of Care and am excited to be part of this event!

Circle of Care is a support program for children and families who are coping with life threatening illness, death and bereavement. We provide vital services to children who are facing grief, fear, anger and pain due to the illness or death of a parent or caregiver.

Circle of Care is run by a small but committed staff and interns and a very generous and loving group of community volunteers.

At Circle of Care, we do not turn any family away due to financial circumstances. To do this we rely on the generosity of community foundations and people like you. 

Please help support my memorial walk around Lake Merritt on May 15th, 2010 by making a donation to my fundraising page. All proceeds will go to support Circle of Care programming and the children and families they serve. I am walking in memory of Alice Wagner, Roberta Oppedahl and several children in the Bay Area who have died due to violence.
