Dear Friends and Family,

This year I will be taking part in Circle of Care's Second Annual Walk to Remember. As you may know, I am the Program Director of Circle of Care and get to see on a daily basis how important this support is to children and families.

Circle of Care is a support program for children and families who are coping with life threatening illness, death and bereavement. They provide vital services to children who are navigating through their grief offering support groups, individual and family counseling, community workshops, crisis support, and information and referral.

Please help support my memorial walk around Lake Merritt on May 14th, 2011 by making a donation to my fundraising page. All proceeds will go to support Circle of Care programming and the children and families they serve.

This year I am walking in remembrance of SP, JR, Alice Wagner, Roberta Oppedahl and for the Oakland community,which is hard hit by death and illness.

Thank you so much for your support. Our non-profit has been hard hit by the economic struggles facing the country and we have seen a significant decline in grant funding. Any donation, no matter how small, helps keep the services available to those in need.
