I made it, the whole 26.2 miles of the Chicago Marathon!! It was your generosity and encouragement that gave me the motivation to keep going. The experience was life changing for me and I know the funds raised by these efforts will bring hope to the children and families of Africa.

As part of my journey I decided to sponsor a child from Africa for one year. It made my run that much more meaningful. This added an additional $400 to my fundraising total as well to make my total just over $1,500. Just like the small steps I made to reach my goal, I know that my $35 per month contribution will bring hope to this child, his family, and his community all year long.
