I'm proud to work for the Ohio Environmental Council because all of our efforts are dedicated to protecting and preserving Ohio's natural resources.

I have long respected our natural environment.  My passion for protecting and restoring our natural environment began when I was quite young and It has been a driving force in my life. 

Healthy air, land, and water, and safe local foods are intrinstic rights of all of us, yet many times they are compromised for financial gain or to "reduce costs".  No longer do they need to compete with each other.  A healthy natural environment results in lower healthcare costs, lower water treatment costs, and the creation of new jobs - just to name a few.

It is so important to me that as a mother I don't feel quilty for not allowing my daughter play outside because of a air quality alert or have to worry about the foods that she eats outside of my home. It also is important to me that my daughter grows up with a profound respect for the natural environment and that her respect for the natural environment drives the decisions she makes in her life.   

The OEC works daily to ensure that all Ohioans have access to healthy air, clean water, healthy lands, and safe and local foods.  Please help us continue to work tirelessly so we can accomplish our mission to secure healthy air, land, and water for all who call Ohio home.
