Let's build a well together and give the gift of water!
Every 15 seconds a child dies due to lack of clean water, while as little as $1 can provide clean, safe water for one person for a whole year! Every dollar makes a difference!

Early one morning last month I came out of my house and was greeted by my neighbor. Dressed in a t-shirt, shorts and combat boots that were not tied, on a morning really too cool to be comfortable in such an outfit, he was filling up a dirty five gallon bucket with water from my outdoor faucet. Now, before you think "how presumptous of your neighbor to be taking water from your house", I should tell you that a week earlier he had approached my roommate asking to get water from the faucet as their water had been shut off.
But that was a week ago, and I had no idea that he was still without water. Somewhat embarrassed, he commented that they hoped to get the water on next week. As I watched him manuaver the full bucket of water back up the stairs, I was a overcome by the thought of that old paint bucket being the sole source of water for bathing, flushing, cooking, cleaining and drinking for this family, which includes school age children and a teenage daughter with a new baby (less than an month old).
That morning the Lord began to shift some things in my heart. Streams of living water flowing from me took on a new dimension and a conviction of the Lord to do what I could to love my neighbor - not just the next door neighbor - but the one across the seas.
My goal is to sponsor the building of a well through Living Water International (link to site on left side of page). A shallow well (up to 200 ft deep and operated with a hand pump) provides approximately 500 people with fresh, clean water. The cost to sponsor a shallow well is $5,000 and I would invite you to join with me to bring living water to the Nations of the world.
