Since February, I have been volunteering for Meals on Wheels and More (MOWAM) where I work with the "Handy Wheels" program by helping with household installations and repairs for homebound individuals. This is a great program that helps a wide range of folks, many of whom are elderly individuals who live by themselves and only have Social Security to get by on. 

In order to help Handy Wheels continue to serve the community, I've set a goal of raising at least $3,000 by November 15th when I will run my first marathon - the San Antonio Rock 'n' Roll Marathon. Even though the charity listed on this page says Meals on Wheels Endowment Fund, I have been assured that all money raised will go directly to Handy Wheels.

I would be thrilled if you decide to contribute, and funds can be donated by credit card through this website.  Donating online through this site is totally secure and is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
