Growing up, I always heard many stories - from the life lessons of the Ramayana, to the simple nuggets of wisdom of Aesop's Fables.  But I always remembered the story of the Akshaya Patra - the pot of food that never stopped giving. 

Now, as an adult, I can help bring the concept of Akshaya Patra to fruitition.  By participating in this walk, I can make a difference.  By helping to provide a mid-day meal to India's hungriest children, I can assure that these children also have proper access to education. 

Akshaya Patra's school lunch program is helping to end hunger in India.  It relies on scaling and technology and has internationally recognized corporate and community leaders at its helm.  Equally importantly, Akshaya Patra's innovative model can be replicated in other countries to help end hunger. 

$28 feeds one child for one year.  My goal is to feed 50 children this year.  Help me raise $1,400 and make the story of Akshaya Patra a reality!!
