Lighthouseville Needs Your Help

"House" came to Illinois Equine Humane Center 14 months ago with a fractured knee after racing.  The choice was simple - he would come to ILHEC or he would go to slaughter.  Thanks to your support of this organization, House came here.

Just when it looked as though he had been totally rehabilitated, House developed an abscess on his right mandible when trauma created a bone chip - the swelling is his body attacking the foreign object.

This problem is simple to attack but expensive - and we have many other horses that need care.  Very simply put, ILEHC needs your help now.  We need that help for House so that we can treat him immediately.  He deserves that.
