The 2008 Illinois Basset Waddle!
Guardian Angel Basset Rescue, Inc. is my passion outside the business world. When Buford came into rescue, he had been found wandering the streets of a small central Illinois town. He was having a problem walking and no owner identification. Once Buford reached our vet, it was discovered that he had a shotgun pellet near his spine - he would never be able to walk.
That didn't matter as he was adopted by the Magnussen family in Wisconsin where he lived for 4 wonderful years - and his name was changed to Little Larry! I'm very proud to be associated with GABR.
I'm asking you, as a friend of mine, to support my group by making a donation to GABR as I walk in The Basset Waddle - and I'm asking you to donate as much as you can. A gift of any size is very much appreciated as our vet bills currently run approximately $12,000 per month. Our average Basset has a bill that exceeds our adoption fee by $250 - if you make a donation of $250, you've paid the total vet cost for one of my friends. Little Larry's expense was substantially more than that but he was worth every penny!
A donation of $500 saves the lives of 2 of our Bassets
A donation of $250 saves the life of 1 of our Bassets
A donation of $100 pays for 40% of a Basset's cost
Any donation of any amount is GREATLY APPRECIATED!
Thank you for helping. This group means everything to me.
