Wake Up!

It's time for "The Plunge"

As you all know, I did not make my annual bike ride for MS this year because Karen and I were on our "Bucket List African Safari". But that doesn't mean I'm not going to try to get in your generous pockets for a good cause.

As a Proud Penguin Plunger for a period spanning 4 decades I have watched "The Plunge"  become an "Annual Rite Heralding the New Year". During that time my fellow Plungers and I have raised an enormous sum of money in support of the Rhode Island Special Olympics.

Our family has had the benefit of watching our own Special Olympians participate in the programs and know from first hand exeperience how important the Special Olympics are in the lives of the athletes. As such I am grateful to all those who donate to the intrepid "Plungers" that join me on New Year's Day. I hope that you will make a donation to the cause to inspire me and my fellow Penguins to continue the tradition and raise even more money in support of the deserving Special Olympians this year.
