Once again I will be participating in the ICADV Race Away From Domestic Violence event.  This year it is on August 13th and will take place the IUPUI Michael A. Carroll stadium.  I once again will enter the 5k run/walk/roll and I invite you to join my team by clicking on the top of my page.  You too can create your own firstgiving page to raise awareness and money for this very important cause.

Unfortunately in Indiana this year 63 women, children, and men have lost their lives due to domestic violence.  As the economy suffers so do those who live in households where violence is prevalent, so with your support, we can make a real difference in the lives of domestic violence victims.

This event offers an excellent opportunity to raise awareness about the issue of domestic violence and get exercise.... a win-win!!  You can register for the race by going to www.icadvinc.org
