6th Annual Walk for Change
Spring is around the corner and that means it's that time of year again for the annual Boston Area Rape Crisis Center Walk for Change!
I started at BARCC as an intern in September 2009 and am currently working as a clinician and the hotline coordinator. I have loved my time here and am continously impressed by the passion and commitment of the people who work and volunteer here.
As the only rape crisis center in the greater Boston area and the biggest in Massachusetts BARCC reaches people that often feel very alone and isolated. Here are some ways your donations help:
$25 helps BARCC answer two hotline calls.
$75 pays for medical accompaniment to a hospital emergency room by a trained volunteer.
$200 supports the first three sessions of free counseling for survivors and their families
$1,000 allows a new volunteer or intern to attend BARCC’s comprehensive training
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Thank you so much for any support you can offer through walking, donating or both! Every dollar makes a difference.
