Lyme disease is a widespread epidemic that has been detected on almost every continent. It can attack any system in the body and is often mistaken for other illnesses since its symptoms mirror other conditions.  Contributing to the confusion are the inadequacies of current blood tests and physicians' lack of experience with the disease.

Laura has been struggling with Lyme for the past 3 years. We are grateful for her continued progress and felt the need to do something more.  We have decided to host this charity event to help prevent the suffering of others by raising awareness.
