LINCOLN PARK PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

Liberty Theatre Fundraising Page

Liberty Theatre Fundraising Page

Named in honor of the historic Liberty Theater in Midland, PA, Liberty Theatre, a professional theatre company in residence at Lincoln Park, will present quality, affordable entertainment expected by Lincoln Park audiences and provide ongoing performance and technical opportunities for aspiring and professional artists.

Liberty Theatre will present its inaugural season starting June 2010!  Kicking off the first summer season will be a production of Side by Side by Sondheim, a musical tribute to Broadway composer, Stephen Sondheim including his most prolific works.  The summer season will also include Andrew Lloyd Webber’s family blockbuster, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and returning in December will be the Lincoln Park holiday favorite, A Christmas Story.

Liberty Theatre will feature the familiar faces you’ve come to love including graduates from Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School, the artists in residence at Lincoln Park and local community and professional performers.  In addition to furthering the education of LPPACS graduates and regional college students, the theatre company will provide employment opportunities for local artists, technicians and designers.

Starting a theatre company happens once in a lifetime and with the formation of a new organization comes new financial responsibilities.  Liberty Theatre will maintain the high quality performances you’ve become accustomed to at Lincoln Park.

We are hoping you will play a major role in the creation of Liberty Theatre by becoming a Founding Member.  For this inaugural season a donation of $250 or more will secure your lifetime membership with Liberty Theatre.  As a Founding Member, your name will be forever listed in the programs for all Liberty Theatre productions and you will be invited to attend special VIP events and performances.

In the current economic times, we understand a commitment of this kind may not be feasible however, we are grateful for your support at any level.  We welcome any donation and appreciate your becoming part of such a wonderful opportunity.  All donations will help us provide mentoring experiences to young professionals and enhance the cultural experiences of our patrons.

Thank you for your continued support and I look forward to seeing you this summer.

Gavan Pamer, Artistic Director
