The 2009 Special Olympics Polar Plunge is quickly approaching on November 7!!!  I've again committed to this wild event!!! 

This year, our team will have a special reason for the plunge...a former Special Olympics athlete, Gary Runge. Gary is brother to a very special friend and co-worker of mine. Gary has "retired" from athletic competition, but still participates vicariously through the participation of those of us who take part in events such as this one. We will be plunging in his honor this year!!!  He is so excited!!!
