As you all know Katie lost her Aunt Kim to cancer this past spring.  Katie's cheerleading squad is participating in The Walk to Cure Cancer this weekend.  Katie is hoping to raise a little money in honor of her Aunt and all others who have suffered the loss of a loved one to cancer in hopes that one day there will be a cure. 

The Walk to Cure Cancer raises money to support research at UMass Cancer Center at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. The Walk is proudly sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of Massachusetts, in partnership with the working families of the Massachusetts AFL-CIO. Now, in its 10th year, over 40,000 walkers have joined the Walk to Cure Cancer and raised over $5 million.
