This is the fundraising page for the Burlington Women for Change meet-up group. 

Laura’s March 2009 will raise money for two special projects:
We are raising funds for a weekend wilderness retreat, organized by the Women’s Rape Crisis Center, for female survivors of sexual violence. To renew their strength and courage, participants will gather in memory of Laura for hiking, camping, yoga, journaling, and a healing fire ritual.

We’ve almost reached our goal of putting Laura’s Kits in all Chittenden County elementary schools and have just 10 left! So we are raising money for more Kit books, games, and art supplies that Women Helping Battered Women’s social workers will use in support groups for children affected by domestic violence to help them cope and not repeat the cycle of violent behavior.
