Laura Miller's Fundraising Page for Bobbi and the Strays
Bobbi and the Strays lost their lease on their shelter space! We rescue over 500 animals per year. Without our shelter space, we won't be able to continue our work.
Real estate in NYC is so expensive but we cannot abandon the city that needs us most. Thousands of animals are euthanized in our city shelters every year. Bobbi and the Strays works tirelessly to rescue as many as possible, rehabilitate and find responsible new homes for them. All animals are fixed and vetted.
In addition to that, Bobbi and the Strays teaches humane education our schools. We work with owners to find ways to keep their pets when their lives change. We also keep in touch with adopters long after the animals go home if they should need our assistance in anyway.
Bobbi's dream has been to leave behind a permanent building that would always be a safe haven for animals. Now that we are losing our lease on our rented space, her dream is more urgent than ever.
With your help we can make it a reality for the animals. No donation is too small. If everyone gave a dollar, we would reach our goal in no time!
Thank you for any support you can give us!
PS The video you see to the left is a tribute to all our dogs and volunteers that tirelessly work to rescue and rehabilitate them =) Please take a few minutes and watch. Thank you!!
