The 2012 Malone Walk for Kidneys is a great community based fundraiser that supports those living with kidney disease and/or waiting for a life saving transplant.  It celebrates life by paying tribute to those that have made the gift of life possble for others, educates the community about the causes and prevention of chronic kidney disease and the dramatic need for organ donation, and raises funds for community based programs of education, prevention, intervention and patient support.  It's an event that the whole community can be a part of - family, friends, neighbors, co workers and is a great opportunity for businesses to show their support of those living and working in the region affected by this illness.  Did you know that 1 out of ever 9 people is affected?  Chances are that's YOU or someone you know.  You can make a difference - join our efforts today!

The 2012 Malone Walk for Kidneys begins at 1:00pm at Alice Hyde Medical Center.  Registration opens at 12:00 noon and there will be fun activities for the whole family!
