A Prader-Willi Syndrome Association Benefit

My co-worker Lynnie and I are planning Tea for a Cure to take place October 15th, 2011 in San Diego, CA to raise AWARENESS of Prader-Willi syndrome and funds for RESEARCH and EDUCATION to benefit the Prader-Willi Syndrome Assocication (USA) and Prader-Willi California Foundation, both non-profit organizations.

 

This event is very close to my heart, my son Jacob was diagnosed with PWS at 2 weeks of age. During his early days of life I found myself very fearful of his unknown future. PWSA(USA), as well as our California chapter Prader-Willi CA Foundation(PWCF) was there for me with all the information I needed and emotional support to begin taking one day at a time. I am so thankful for their help and support. I now want to be apart of the solution and help and support the Association and families like my own.
