Nick, Ryan and I are running in the Marine Corps Marathon to raise money for the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation. The Caring for Carcinoid Foundation (CFCF) is the leading non-profit dedicated to discovering a cure for carcinoid cancer. Carcinoid cancer is a rare and deadly neuroendocrine cancer, but, unlike many other cancers, it is slow moving. This means research can make a tangible difference in many of those currently affected by Carcinoid. Working together, we can make real progress toward a cure for Carcinoid and other rare but deadly diseases. The CFCF is unique in that 100% of all money raised by the foundation goes directly to research and not a single dollar is used for overhead expenses. This means is that your entire denotation will fund genetically-based research into carcinoid and other related neuroendocrine cancers.
