Last year Lauren and I had the privilege of running the Chicago Marathon to help raise money for World Vision.  This year we will be running the New York Marathon on November 1st.

World Vision works to tackle the root causes of poverty by working with children, families, and their communities to provide things like clean water, health care, nutritious food, education, and economic opportunities.  Every 15 seconds a child dies from preventable water related disease. This year World Vision is building water wells in Musele, Zambia.
