Lyndsey may only be 2 years old, but she's experienced a lot of hard times-after wandering the streets of the south in Georgia, she was taken to a shelter that still uses gas chambers to euthanize animals. Her time was nearly up when Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation saved her.

This should be the end of her hardship, but on her arrival we noticed a limp - and after a veterinarian looked at it, it was determined she had torn her ligament (similar to the human ACL). To correct this, Lyndsey needs surgery which is expensive - it will cost $1200!
