Once again I will be participating in this walk.  I will be volunteering again and aiding in the registration of the walkers.

It is a treat each year to hear the stories and see how far the walk has come in eleven {11} years.  I have seen the wonder, strength, and how your donations helped so many people.  A wonderful building full of life which is trying to find a Cure to Cancer.

This year I will be walking the one mile loop.  Last year I was amazed at the steady stream of people who walked among me and the encouragement they gave to me.

Please join us on Sunday, September 13, 2009 for the 11th Annual Walk to Cure Cancer. The five mile walk-a-thon raises money to support research at UMass Memorial Cancer Center at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. The Walk is proudly sponsored by the working families of the Massachusetts AFL-CIO. Now, in its 11th year, over 50,000 walkers have joined the Walk to Cure Cancer and raised nearly $6 million.
