Your contribution will make a positive impact on the life of a Special Olympics athlete. Through your generosity, you will join me in supporting and promoting the tenants of the Virginia Special Olympics which are respect, inclusion and unity. These athletes gain a wealth of life experience through their participation and it builds self-confidence. With experience and self-confidence, how can they not succeed? I borrowed this quote I saw in some literature. I like the message. "The sport is the medium, but the real power lies within the Special Olympics experience and all the people it touches."
