Uganda Community Health Project
The Community Health Project reaches many people in many different ways. Two of the biggest projects are providing spring protection and latrines for rural communities. The project also provides health education, mosquito nets to aid against malaria, injections, and so much more.
SPRING PROTECTION: Uganda has an abundance of springs, but the watar can easily be cantaminated from domestic animals. Protecting springs ensures that their is safe clean water for an entire community. Each project costs $850
LATRINES: The government is wisely requiring that all public places have toilet facilities, which can be no more than a whole in the ground and a banana leaf roof. We want to provide even more for these schools and churchs by provinding them the suitable materials to build a solid brick structure. Each project costs: $150
MOSQUITO NETS: In Africa, mosquitoes can kill. Every 30 seconds an African child dies from a malaria infection transmitted by a mosquito bite. In fact it kills more people than AIDS. For only $8 you can help protect women and children from this deadly disease by making an insecticide-treated bed net affordable.
