Dear Friends and Family, I’m writing to ask for your sponsorship support as I take on the Woony River Ride on Saturday, September 24th! I’ll be riding ___ miles for a great cause. This annual fundraiser will raise money to help the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC) improve and expand the Woonasquatucket River Bike Path, Providence and Johnston’s only off-road bike path. The WRWC runs year-round programs that engage youth from 5-24 years old in green space stewardship projects along the Woonasquatucket Greenway Bike Path and they recruit and manage hundreds of volunteers to work on improvement and maintenance projects.
