Thanks to all who have contributed to the Blubirds 2008 Bird-A-Thon effort. Don Reinberg, Patti and I conducted our search along the Highway 101 corridor on Tuesday, September 23rd. It was a calm warm day, which may have reduced avian activity. We fell a tad short of our goal of 101 species, but we did tally 87 species, and many of you have received a narrative report of the adventure. It was great fun, and we look forward to an expanded Bird-A-Thon effort in 2009.

If you intended to contribute on a "per species seen" basis, just multiply your pledge amount by 87 and there you go. You can send the money directly to PRBO, or use this very convenient FirstGiving site.
