Thank you for visiting our page honoring Rebecca Grace Righeimer who left this Earth on December 28th 2003 to join her Heavenly Father. As many of you know Rebecca's life was cut very short due to her sudden death of Long QT syndrome, a rare but serious heart arrhythmia. Rebecca's little sister Ellie, whom I was pregnant with when Rebecca died was diagnosed with Long QT syndrome in August 2006. Ellie is now 4 years old. She is on a beta blocker medication to keep her heart in a normal and stable rhythm. It is only because of the SADS foundation with all it's highly effective staff and connecting doctor's that we have been able to get a correct and definite diagnosis of Long QT. SADS has been a "life saver" for Ellie and our family. We are fortunate that we now know about Ellie's disease and that we can treat her effectively. Needles to say that we will always be devastated by Rebecca's sudden death and we miss her with every breath.
