Well, it's that time of year again for the Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.  Our 11,000 + courageous Colorado Special Olympics Athletes deserve every opportunity to fullfil their "field of dreams."  With our support and awareness efforts, these wonderful "athletes" with intellectual disabilities will be able to experience the life skills that come with athletic competition!  

I'm hopeful that you can join me and others by participating in our May 18th TORCH RUN at the Boulder Police Department.  Starting at 930 am from the department front steps, we will run/walk/bike along a 4 mile route on the beautiful Boulder Creek Path.  We will complete the celebration with a free BBQ lunch at the PD, donated and catered by Lazy Dog Grill.  If you are interested, please register online at www.firstgiving.com/soco/soco2012torchrun and select/join the Boulder Police Team.
