The Fight for Lexi Team has been victorious for the past three years because of each and everyone's financial support.  We are humbled by our friends, family and co-workers partnering with us to help our beautiful daughter.  In April the doctors informed us that a CT scan revealed the disease is active in Lexi's lungs again.  This is why we need your support and prayers!  The disease just never goes away!

     Lexi finally made it to the Capitol to meet with Congressional Legislators in order to advocate for the Scleroderma Research and Awareness Act.  It was a very impactful trip for such a young lady.  The bill finally passed Congress and it is now on the Senate floor.  With all the cutbacks in the Federal budget we are apprehensive as to the passing of this bill that provides NIH funding for Scleroderma research.

     It is with great pride that we announce that Lexi will be attending the University of Arizona in Tucson.  When we started this journey we never thought that she would lead a "normal teenage life".  Her determination and bravery to attain her dream of going to college will be actualized this fall.

     Please know how appreciative we are of every person's generous donation.  There are advances on the horizon because of your philanthropic giving.  Please pray for Lexi that the treatments are victorious!  We have to find a way to give hope and a cure to all of the Scleroderma Sufferers!!!
