We are running to support the fight against melanoma, in honor of two wonderful people who lost their battles with their disease.  Peggy Soltesz was a vivacious, adventurous, full-of-life 62-year-old grandmother of 4 who died of melanoma in June 2008.  Charlie Kerstetter, 70, died July 18, 2009 from melanoma.  He left a wife, two sons, three grandchildren, a roomful of his paintings, and many great memories.  We also have other family members who thankfully survived the disease thanks to early detection--the best tool we have to reduce melanoma deaths.
