Southern Arizona Network for Down Syndrome - Tucson Buddy Walk

2009 Tucson Buddy Walk Tucson,  Arizona

Lily's Buddy Walk Page

Can you believe this is our fourth year?  Where does the time go?

Lily is in her second year of preschool with Project Able and she loves it!  She rides the school bus every day and every day I wake up to the words "backpack" "bus" and "SCHOOL"!!  I hope she continues to have this love for learning throughout her life!

Thank you for visiting our Personal Fundraising Page. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!

Also, join us at Reid Park DeMeester Outdoor Performance Center on Sunday, October 25th to celebrate this year's BUDDY WALK!

SANDS is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit umbrella organization. Our mission: To improve and enrich the lives of individuals with Down syndrome and to promote public awareness.

Our purpose is to:

  • Organize and host diverse community events to increase and promote community awareness and inclusion as well as to create new funding resources for the Down Syndrome community.
  • Funds raised are then granted back via the Give it back! program to individuals with DS and their families for the purpose of enriching their lives through participation in programs, therapies, conferences and more... Community Grantsto local support groups for their operation expenses can also be applied for.
  • Develop and/or bring new programs and services to benefit the Down Syndrome community in Southern Arizona.

Won't you join us with your support for this wonderful cause?

Hope to see you at the event!
