Linda Conley's Fundraising Page
Hello, again it's 'pesky' me, letting you all know that my fundraising efforts for HMEA's 7th Annual Independence 5K Walk/Run in the Park are not going very well...I fell short of my goal last year, but I was hopeful I'd make my goal this year! Yet, I find myself further behind...it's understandable though, what with the economy the way it is and the many other worthy charitable organizations asking for help, everyone has to 'pick & choose'...I'm just hoping that if you haven't made your choice for 'donations' this year you'll pick my fundraiser to support. I assure you it is a very worthy cause!
This fundraiser helps to provide programs and services to 2000 children and adults with developmental disabilities, such as autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and mental retardation. Through our Children's, Residential, Day Services and Family Support programs, individuals ages 3 to 92 receive specialized and unique supports that help to provide them with their own levels of independence.
A big THANK YOU to all of you who did support my fundraising efforts last year. I hope you, and anyone who can will help to make a real difference in someone's life this year by considering making an easy, secure and tax-deductible donation to my fundraising page. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Simply follow the steps below, and you'll be helping me reach my goal of $500.00.
And, as you know, these things can have a domino effect...if you tell someone, and they tell someone and so on, the donations grow, and grow and grow...so please pass this page along to everyone in your address book who you think would also like to make a difference in someone's life...
Thank you again...and if you're in Franklin on Sunday, May 18th...stop by EMC2 Corporation's field in the Franklin Industrial Park...come see for yourself how much fun this event really is...I look forward to seeing you!
