Since Ashley's death on 12/31/04, Ashley's friends and family have worked together to raise awareness about suicide prevention and to support the work of the Samaritans organization. This will be the team's second year participating in the 5K. The proceeds of this year's funds raised will go towards school screening, prevention and postvention services.
