On December 12th of 2005, I held my sweet boy in my arms for the last time. I watched as a life so full of hope and possibility slipped away from this world. Now, more than four years later, there isn't a moment that goes by that I don't stop and wonder what that little boy might be doing today.
Through the work of Jack's Magic Bean Fund, that little boy remains present in our lives. With every check I write, I hear a soft whisper of 'tank you mummy' and I can go on putting one foot in front of the other. It is only through your support that I can continue to write those checks and hear those words of thanks, so it is with deep humility and gratitude that I ask for your donations.
Help us continue to fight the giant in Jack's name, so that we can change this experience for other families. Last year we were proud to help five families with wish trips and financial assistance. We donated funds to three different research facilities and began funding an endowment at Camp Sunshine in Casco, Maine. This year we hope to double those efforts and affect change in even more lives.
Training Wheels is the only local cycling event that helps KIDS with cancer. So when you see pictures of our heroes along the route or in our marketing materials, you can rest assured that those are the real beneficiaries of your support. Jack's Magic Bean Fund is a real pediatric fund, we don't just play one on tv!
